I have about 2k miles on some PS4s. Most of that is windy backroads. There is no comparison with the stock Contis. These things grip with no drama, ride smoother and quieter. They grip so well, that the body of the car leans on turns when it felt flat on the Contis.
Spend the extra couple of bucks and get a Valeo heater core. It is a pain in the butt job but not actually hard.
No worries with the nissen branded radiator. I have installed tons of them into mk3 vr6 cars over the years with no issues. They fit perfect and the quality is very good. I have a mk3 fitment nissens branded radiator in my a2vr6 also that I installed a few years ago. It cools the car perfectly fine on both the street and the drag strip.
Yep! Had them on for some months now. Cheap and effective, dust problem gone, end of story.
I just installed them on Saturday and I'm really liking it so far. Very linear feeling as well, and similar to stock, but less grabby out of the gate. The one main thing I noticed today is that my wheels aren't caked with brake dust, as they usually are with just one day of driving in stop and go LA traffic!
I've had this TTRS setup running for 5k miles on my Golf R. Clutch kit: 07K-141-015-BX and clutch disc: Sachs 1878005146 . Overall compared to stock clutch with restrictor removed: Engagement is noticeably stiffer and the engagement area is a little \"narrower\". In my opinion it takes the clutch from being EXTREMELY light with the restrictor removed to feeling more like a \"normal\" car. Overall the change is not overly dramatic and OEM -> OEM no restrictor was a bigger change than OEM no restrictor -> TTRS no restrictor. In addition to not slipping, engagement with the TTRS PP is a lot more crisp and reassuring overall.
The automatic is doing fine. People have been tuned stage 1/2 since the MK7's release a couple years ago.
Its NOT the Brake booster vac pump lol I replaced that 3 months ago with OEM VW parts from the dealer $506 repair.
I changed or done: - new brake pipe Textar - new caliper from TRW in red - pads are freely moving to sides - try disconnect handbrake line on this wheel - bearing has no play - new brakefluid, but pedal now has a little bit longer way then before ( till i try hard brake with abs active, then is better ) RR wheel when i brake harder is locking up first, so abs is involved..
Rain X and VW -- fail \u00d7 2 I dealt with this issue for my daughter's Mk 6 Golf. IMO it is a lame fail, by two corporations not taking responsibility for their product failure(s).
