I have a 2013 Jetta that calls for 5W-40. I only use oil filters purchased directly from Volkswagen, and I only use Castrol oil. I've had positive results doing this

The automatic 8-speed is an Aisin transmission (Toyota), and coming from a manual, I didn’t think I would like it - but it’s good and I do.
I scored a set of NOS Hella headlights and sold my crosshairs which I found out were aftermarket. The beam pattern is much better already, I ordered a set of Daniel Stern's H4 bulbs so I'll actually be able to see at night now.
Thanks for the quick reply I'm run ing 5w40 mobil 1 European spec oil ans mobil one extended performance filter I change it every 5k
Koni yellow shocks and struts, neuspeed lowering springs, and GLI front and rear discs w/ECS braided lines... the car rides and drives beautifully now!
FWIW, I just had spark plugs and coil packs done on my 2016 Jetta, $185 out the door at my local dealership
I have these on my car. By far the superior wiper blade on the market, from my experience. Tried silicone blades and was disappointed (noise, streaks). I do remember the connector you need to use was tight, but it did work. These blades are fantastic, but only last 8 months. I think I can live with that.
I have the Hankook Kynergy GT's on mine. They have been fine on dry roads even when pushing it in the corners. On wet roads, as others have said, not so much. I just take it easy when it's wet.
I have a set of these on my Jetta and they suck in the rain. Especially as I near the end of their life
Not sure if it's the angle the windshield is at or it's just the most amazing glass in the world but I got 2 rock chips on my 2020 SEL and was super upset cause it's expensive to replace windshields and as well a 3rd rock chip on a Jetta loaner I had from the dealership while mine was being repaired for the hotspot. From the brand I remember VW uses for the Jetta Windshield Saint-gobain-glass and in my opinion it is a fragile glass coming from a person with 3 rock chips...
