I use Pennzoil 0W-30 Euro Platinum, and a Castrol CAS3593 filter every time, and change my oil every 6000kms which is about 3728 miles. I have heard good things about the efficiency of the Castrol filters.
Use full synthetic Mobil one or Castrol Change every 7k miles. And the oil filter too.

Buy Castrol Edge and the long-life filter from Walmart for best engine protection.
I did Castrol Edge Euro Car 5W-40 with a Hengst oil filter, but if you want to spend a little extra most people recommend LiquidMoly
I used the Castrol once, and have been buying the assembled kit from ECS ever since. At 73K miles, now, and change it every 7-8K.
Castrol Edge 0w 20 with the Dexos1 and an STP gold filter done at 2k.
