I live in buffalo area we just were hit with 2 feet of snow the past two days. I put dedicated 20inch wheels and Michelin x ice tires on it instead of the 22” stock wheels and Michelin all seasons. It’s the most planted feeling I’ve had in a vehicle in the winter. I love how well the defrost works too. I’m start a new post tho for what is the most overkill windshields wipers available for the ix. I need them.
I put on a set of Michelin x-ice and went down to 20” rims from the stock 21’s. Handles great, very little sliding, good grip and I was surprised how quiet the tires are for full snows.
I live in Belgium and had the cc2 mounted last fall, the tire shop said i had to be careful with them when going to the south of Europe with these in summer because they have clients who have them and after a while driving in summer in spain/ Italy pieces break off the thread. (Also in combination on heavy cars) also the cc2 added 10-15% of fuel use on my car.
I have these from January 2023 with 40,000 miles and they look almost new.
Mine were doing that within a year. Michelins are a bit infamous for getting shallow cracks all over the place.
Idk but the CC2 on my van lasted for 70k miles which was insane
CC2. Sharper handling than the stock ProContact TX and superior in bad weather (standing rain water and snow.)
Lots of snow here in WI this winter so far. My hybrid with CC2s (with 30k on them) has been a champ
I have the crossclimate2’s on my Mac and I love them!! Have had absolutely zero issues!!
