I recommend Nissan oil or any motul synthetic with Ester. Thats what these engines recommend. Had mine for 12 years and still a very relevant car today.
Reviews of OEM Nissan parts For Business
Japan
All I know is my CVT transmission nissan altima lasted a quarter of a million miles, I bought it at 165k miles never did anything to it besides brakes & rotors, oil changes, 1 alternator, 1 radiator & hella Tires tbh.
I got a 2019 Nissan Versa Note and found one on Amazon for $15. I have a cabin filter that I am going to replace, I’ll Amit it is in an awkward place. YouTube is friend.
Z1 Offroad has an OEM Nissan remanufactured for a good price, that's I what I went with.
OEM Nissan, but slightly more conservative with cooling.
San Antonio Leaf driver here, a Leaf is fine in Texas as long as you don't want to do road trips (battery heating gets to be an issue around 250 miles on a 40kWh on the interstate). This sub is overwhelmingly negative on the Leaf, despite it being a good local commuter.
Head gasket blew today at 29k miles
My 2016 Altima (purchased brand new) had the CVT transmission begin showing signs of degradation at 48,000 miles. And this was with a drain and fill at 30,000 miles. Thankfully the warranty covered a replacement.
Unless an oil filter relocation kit is installed then prepare for hand/arm damage every 5000km.
I ended up replacing the alternator but it wasn\u2019t a genuine Nissan part and it didn\u2019t work.
