We use alpha 3.5 HP batteries in our generators.The 4.0 HP is better.in fact I've been using out of warranty batterys from our generator sites because they last.

I'm going to turn 230k miles on my 2018 model 3 tomorrow. The only time it has been to a service center is when the 12v battery died on a road trip. Other than that, I've put tires on it. I'm at about 21% degradation but everything still runs as it should. I'm hoping to get to 300k miles on the original battery.

My 3 years old XC60 battery has been diagnosed as bad 55% last 2 weeks ago, I said to them keep it as I feel they are still good and road worthy. Gonna do a snapshot again at another 6 months to evaluate.
