My 2021 Compass wouldn't start. I got a jump from someone. My Compass started up but went into "limp mode". The next day it wouldn't start at all. So I replaced both batteries and everything went back to normal.

I bought a shorter mobility scooter battery with same chemistry as the original, YUASA REC36-12, however the polarity was reversed. I extended the negative pole and installed it without an issue and car came back to normal.
Got a Japanese one: Varta Automotive EFB Car Battery Q-85/115D23L 12v 70Ah 660A (EN) just over 1/2 the price of an Australian made Q-85. Got 6.5 years out of original from Japan 2019 using stop start most of the time.
I ended up going to batteries plus, getting a Duracell battery that they installed and warranty for 3 years ago for about $300.
I have a 22 Model 3 RWD although with a little less mileage (~50k)... haven't done a health test or anything but it's still reporting somewhere between 417 and 410 on a full charge, depending on "factors". But it did the same when I bought it 2 years ago. In real world usage, can't tell you that I've noticed any.
Get the battery from the dealer. It lasts longer and has a 7 year warranty. The Optima Yellowtop died on me after 3 years.
They added an extra battery for the start stop feature, which can be turned off, to help preserve the main battery draw. That is the biggest issue on the jeep. Talking a new battery every two years.
2022 ID.4 in Canada. Have had two replaced. Luckily when it happened it was in my driveway for all three times. Hooked up a charger to the 12v for a few hours and it started like nothing was wrong.
That said, do not buy another Subaru battery. They are way over priced and extreme garbage. You'll be replacing it again in a year to 2 years; they are notorious for having failed cells in just a couple years. If you want something that will last a long time buy an AGM from Odyssey.
I bought my wrx brand new in 2015, the battery lasted two years and was replaced at the dealership. That second battery lasted two years and I went back for them to replace it and said that they wouldn’t because it was already replaced under warranty. She told me they would replace it for something like $160, I said

“Look lady the first battery lasted two years and the second lasted two years, I’m not spending my money on your junk batteries.”
