I've used hawk hp plus with a CSL rotor setup for about a decade now and have been very happy. They fit my needs well.
Owner reviews for brake pads
Hawk ER1. They’re fantastic.
I’d recommend DS2500’s. They are a bit noisy for everyday but the performance is worth it. Nice and predictable feel
Stoptech Street pads for the Akebono brakes. I've only got 16k miles on them and they still look new, despite having drilled & slotted rotors. I do heavily downshift and engine brake, which explains the lack of wear. I'd buy them again as they're quiet, but they do produce a fair amount of brake dust.
I have personally bought Ferodo brake pads from AF1racing for my 2022 SR/S. Pads work great
I used Akebono pro act 914a for the fronts. This combo has been working great for the fronts.
Centric pads and rotors are pretty good. As said above Akenono is OE for pads, maybe rotors too. I run Akebono pads and Brembo standard rotors on my cars. Nice and clean and never any noise and I swear the standard brembo rotors stop harder the centrics drilled/slotted rotors.
Akebono for pads. I put them to all the family cars/friends including Accord, CRV, Camry and now Civic.
I went with the APR rotors and EBC Yellow pads all around, which are supposedly track oriented. The rotors are good, but remember that any type of slotted or drilled rotors will be hard on pads than smooth rotors. EBC Yellows are the recommended pads for light track use. I did two track days and put on about 5k miles. The pads are slow to grab on the street, meaning that they need to warm up before heavy braking.
Not a fan of EBC, had yellow and blew through them in one track session.
