STOPTECH Brake pads
rastta
Rating 5.0
  • Braking:

As for Wilwoods - they are good but require more maintance due to the lack of a dust boot/seals on the pistons - unless they've changed that now. I had StopTech's on my TT and they were excellent. Of course i'd use Porterfield RS4 pads rather than the stock Axxis that comes with them, but I was very impressed with the fit and finish as well as overall power and modulation of the StopTechs.

Pros: excellent fit and finish, overall power and modulation
Cons: more maintance, lack of dust boot
Vehicle: Audi TT

JURID Brake pads
SILVERADO
Rating 4.0

  • Dust:

Jurid, like Pagid and ATE,and Lucas/Girling are all OEM suppliers to VW,the Jurid pads are a OEM replacement and make a hell of a lot of dust, but are less likely to "squeek" due to their softer compound.

Pros: less likely to squeek
Cons: make a hell of dust
Vehicle: Volkswagen

I've got some Mintex to throw in there but I keep putting it off because the Bentley makes it sound like theres some complicated poop involved, I even bought the special tool does anyone have a link with an easier how-to on this?

Mintex Brake pads

mintex red-box suck, you want a set, I'll give you mine. I have had mine for about a week they are ok for grandma style braking, but once you really get on them, you are srewed for an hour (of light braking).

Pros: ok for grandma braking
Cons: suck, bad performance
