My Toyota suddenly had the check engine light (money light) come on. It was the dreaded P0240 error code, indicative of a bad catalytic converter. I added a bottle of Lucas additive to a full tank and the light went out.

Put a bottle in my 5.3 yesterday and the slight misfire went away. Done that for a few years now
The only thing I use is a can of BG44k once every couple years
If I had a performance vehicle, I might go for the premium stuff, but I don't, so I go regular. I chuck in a bottle of redex every 5 or so tanks, which keeps them clean enough.
Just use a can of BG and a tank of Shell 93. Then change oil.
A can of BG44K from Amazon for 30 bucks will do essentially the same thing
STP concentrated formula has worked out for me increasing mileage slightly on some old cars I've got running again
I like using the STP All-In-One if I can find it. Very nice and reliable imo
Lucas. I can't prove it works with data... But I've felt the difference. I swear by the stuff.
I use Mid grade (89 octane, I think), mostly just to keep the engine cleaner. Years ago, I had an Audi 4000 and was having dirty injector problems, my Independent VW/Audi mechanic suggested using at least mid-grade.
