I have Pirelli P Zeros on 22” as OEM and they’ve got 37,000 miles now. They are summer rated but do quite well in winter too. App says to replace soon and I have often thought what could be better than these?
Anything Nokian. Nokian Hakkapelitta R5 is what I use in Sweden and they work extremely well. They work in a wide range of temperatures and work well on roads that aren’t very snow covered as well as roads with quite a bit of snow.
For mild winters without mountains and snow, quality all-seasons are the best option
Otherwise, for winter have a look at SEMPERIT SPEED-GRIP 5: they are better than Kumho/Nexen/Firestone, almost premium quality as Michelin/Continental

Eu am un Renault Grand Scenic 3, care e o masina destul de grea, la 1600 kg, si odata ce o incarci depaseste usor 2 tone, dar in ciuda acestui lucru anvelopele si au facut treaba foarte bine. Cei drept le am de doar jumatate de an pe masina si nu le am testat inca pe timp de iarna, dar pe uscat si umed nu am simtit niciodata vreo lipsa de aderenta sau ca masina ar subvira, si nu sunt genul care sa mearga doar batraneste, i am dat si cu 180 si am mers si pe serpentine cu ea si "coreenele" si au facut cu brio treaba.

I’m not convinced that Chinese tires are terrible, it depends on the brand. ZC tires, who make Westlake and Arisun, I think makes a good product, and have arguably the most advanced automated tire manufacturing for any consumer tires. If you handed me that list and said, you need tires today, these are the brands we have in stock, I’d go with Westlake.
I just went through this with Kryptotals, and although it was tough, it wasn't THAT difficult to get the tire on and seated.
I've tried Nitto's twice and hated them both times. The compound is horrible and traction sucks.
I just replaced Ridge Grapplers on my 2020 Ram 1500. Worst tire I ever had. They were horrible on wet pavement, packed snow and ice.
