I noticed considerably less road noise with the Scorpions compared with the Toyos that came with the car

I ran sumitomo htr z5 for a few years and liked them a lot (summer/perf). Currently on vredestein quattrac pro which is more of an all season sport touring, and meh, I like them and they're great at what they are but I miss having performance tires in the summer.
Been running yokohama advan sports on my GTI for 3 years and they are solid for the money. They aren't as good as my Michelins but for daily driving you would never know. If you drive hard they will talk and are reliable about the break away point and don't do anything you don't expect which is what I want just can't cut a corner quite as good as my Mich on my R32.
Getting 40k miles from your OEM Toyos is pretty good. I kinda wanted to put more Toyo A36 on them as I liked how they felt but they dont have a mileage rating.
im still running a set of Potenza Re002. Theyve been discontinued from Bridgestone, but theyre still around as Firestone Firehawk Indy500. I love them.
I've run the AT3's for the last three years and love them. Better than KO2's, Dura's, and Ridgegrapplers that i've run. All in 35', DD JKU. I'm in CO, so snow, rain, mud and weekend wheeling. They are the best all around. The GY are the best in the snow, but the Toyo's are a close second. I do feel like they won't have the mileage of either the Dura's or the KO2's. Only downside I see.
I'm happy with my Open Country AT3's (265/75R16's). Performance is good for my needs. I don't love them in the rain, but don't find them worse than the other A/T's I've tried. They did start getting loud around 20,000 miles but not annoyingly so.
I had the old clickety clack of a screw in my brand new (by a few months) Eagle Sports. Its quieted of late I think I've worn the head of the screw down to where the noise isn't noticeable.
This is unfortunately common in my experience with Nitto. I ran Trail Grapplers that were cracked like that with still probably 2/3 tread left. Next set were Ridge Grapplers, they did the same at about 1/2 tread.
Just swapped out the 22” contisport 6s on my 2023 Model X Plaid for Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4s and they ride noticeably harsher but most importantly they are damn noisy in comparison.
