After using inferior tires for years, the maxxis high roller 2 tires specd on my bike made me realize that tire choice is the greatest factor impacting cornering confidence, hands down. Once you actually feel the difference between a regular tire and a great tire it becomes a priority in your gear choices. I’ve never tried a maxxis tire that wasn’t great at whatever its intended use case is for. Maxxis makes a tire for every kind of riding style you’re trying to achieve, and each style works as intended. It’s hard for me to move away from maxxis when I know I’m getting exactly what I expect from their product.

I have tried many tires. I ride desert southwest US, just about every trail is rocky, angular, chunky, loose stuff that can shred a tire. When it comes down to it- the maxxis tires hold traction longer than anything, and they last longer than anything else.
I have a set of saliun winter tires and they’ve been great so far this Canadian winter.
I’m running Kenda K413 tires front and back but I got 110 width. I love the tires and the ride feels great.
i got the defenders about 500 miles ago and like them.
the ride is more comfortable and i like the look. i do hear a little bit of road noise, but assuming i get close to the life i’m supposed to from them, it’ll be worth it.
I like my cooper discoverer at3 4s a lot.
I'm using the Pirelli Cinturato Velo TLR, in 32mm, because it was top rated for puncture resistance in a tubeless tire. It's not as fast as the Conti GP 5000 S TR, and it may even cost more, but if you're looking for puncture resistance above all else, you should consider them.
Another vote for Ironmans. Used to run them on my foxbody until I wanted more grip
The Pirelli p zeros on my m sport 330e has been a nightmare. I swapped them out at least 3x in two years (live in NYC with lots of potholes).
Ive had one set of Pirelli and I hate them so much. So much that I don’t even want to bother trying their tires again.
