I have the RT43 on my Lexus ES300 - time for replacement, if the RT45 a worthy replacement? The RT43's are great with drowning road noise and that's my main decision point aside from safety of course.

My car had tires from 2015, so I swapped all the tires for a set of new Conti ECS. 02s which has been great.
I felt similar on the stock tires, switched to pirelli angels and found them to be much better
Get rid of the stock tires and get Michelin City Grip 2's.
Eagle RS-A great tires for my ride, police use them.
You will gain a few percent and the handling is similar or perhaps slightly better.
I have the ProContact RXs on my MS LR. They were excellent in dry, wet and snow . I've read htat they get worse in really cold weather, but they were fine up to around -5-10 degrees celsius and 10-15cm snow atop Donner Pass in Tahoe. Did not need chains.
Michelin had 2 models in the Pilot series - Sporty and Street Radial. The Street Radial was excellent, while the Indian made Sporty was horrible.
I have 22” and have 5/32 tread left and currently have 16k miles logged. I don’t think they’ll last another 10. I’m also not the biggest fan of Pirelli.
