Alternator Denso or GENERAL MOTORS
My 2012 EX-L received a Denso at 80k miles and that was 2 yrs ago.
Denso only for me, in a Denso box.
New Alternator for $647 (+shipping)
I like the [Denso alt for a Suzuki](https://adventuretaco.com/go/denso-210-0461-105a-remanufactured-alternator/), which is plug-and-play and does 105A. That's a \~50% increase over stock and quite a bit less expensive than the TAE.
I got toyota denso brand from rockauto site for $255 with shipping included
Denso reman all the way. You get what you pay for here.
The family line just means it was made by Denso originally. Denso reman in a Denso or Honda box only for me.
Replaced mine with a denso from rockauto. Unfortunately, the battery light stays on even though the voltage readings are good and have been driving like this for almost a year now.
I had this happen with a new Denso out of the box for my Subaru and didn’t notice the battery light wasn’t turning on for the bulb check (and in turn not charging my battery) but it also wasn’t turning on to warn me that it wasn’t charging so I thought it was all good, until my car died pulling into a parking spot lol, found that the voltage regulator had a bad ground path inside the alternator so the charging circuit would never turn on.
I've gone through three Denso alternators in the last 4 years! This last one went almost two years before going out.
