Alternator Denso or GENERAL MOTORS
Denso is likely the OE manufacturer, as they provide a lot of MOPAR OE alternators and I know they do for the T&C/Voyager/Pacificas.
I’m in the Boston burbs, I got the alternator replaced for $350 with parts (remanufactured OEM Denso alternator) included 3 years ago. $450 sounds about right.
I got a reman denso from rock auto for like 120 bucks after core charge return. Don’t know how people feel about em, but reman has usually never done me wrong on other cars I’ve owned.
I've heard good things about Denso 210 and recently put one in my 2014 GT Premium when the alternator went.
Buy what you want, but I trust these over any other brand. They are OEM for Toyota and many other brands. Exceptional quality that lasts. I've installed many of them in customer vehicles over the years. Best reman in the industry
I’ve used this company for my last few Hondas and they have been great. Not one issue and the most recent was my wife’s 9th gen V6 sedan a couple months ago which I bought from RVV. The newer Hondas have the ELD system which doesn’t seem to play nice with any alternator other than Denso and these rebuilt ones by RVV are of high quality.
I recently replaced my alternator on my 07 SI. Very easy and there are YouTube videos on it. Good time to replace serpentine belt if its cracked at all too. I went with a used OEM unit from eBay from a 2010 crv and it's been working great.
The symptoms sound like a bad alternator, the car can usually run off the alternator's output alone even with a bad battery. What brand of alternator did you get?
After buying 4 reman "Dura-CRAP" alternators in less than 3 months... I cut the already bad plug pigtail off a Camry in the JY and bought it and the Denzo Alternator it had, drove the car like that for 2 more years before I parked it.
Don't buy a Remanufactured They Always Whine And Won't work the first Time Buy Them New From Denso
