Alternator OEM Audi or Denso
you can go on rockauto.com and should be able to purchase an OEM Denso Alternator.
If you are going to get a new or remanufactured alternator spend the $$$ for a DENSO one.
As some others have said, make sure you only get the remanufactured Denso alternator. No other alternator seems to work.
I replaced the alternator on my 2012 Odyssey the day before yesterday. Rebuilt Denso (I saw several suggestions online to -not- stray from Denso for this vehicle). was\\~$250 at Napa, after I got my core deposit back.
Get a factory Denso if you can but if not the O'Reillys alternator are good quality, we install a few a month and haven't had a comeback.
My alternator just went on my 2008 FJ TT, and I ended up getting a Denso alternator, which works great, but I o nm ly bought it because it was the only one in town.
Get a DENSO brand remanufactured alternator. Parts store house brands are shit.
I recommend DB electrical for a stock, everyday use replacement. I have one going for about 4 years now, and I abuse it heaving as it's on a truck with a plow motor. Want the best in the business? Get a Denso alternator, they will last forever.
Purchase a new or remanufactured Denso or TYC alternator. Most others are a roll of the dice in terms of lasting longer than 12months.
I replaced my original alternator (which is also denso out of the factory) with a brand new denso alternator. Should be the exact same thing as the factory alt. It's not working at all. Battery is not staying charged. Had a complete diagnostic done by Honda and they said it is the alt. Kinda disappointed I waisted $700.
