Antifreeze PEAK or OEM Toyota
I use peak violet european formula in my mk8 R.
I use Peak, and I think they recommend the violet stuff.
I just use peak pink made for Alfa Romeo and European vehicles overall and it works fine!
I've mixed Peak Violet in with the OEM G12+. My car ran normal for several thousand miles like that.
coolant is always best. I would get rid of the green coolant, flush it all out and replace with something better. I use Peak Final Charge in everything.
Ive been using peak for a while across a 2016 jetta when i owned it and now in my 2021 tiguan. Works fine
Had good luck with their older Asian green, Toyota pink, and Newer Asian Blue in my son's Subaru.
I have some Peak "original equipment technology" for European vehicles, "violet." It is pre-diluted. It seemed to immediately blend right in, if that means anything.
Mods: None, staying showroom stock. TCL Buyers Guide Negatives / future ownership issues: A) Valley Plate coolant leak: Look for pink crystals (dried coolant) underside of engine near where transmission meets up w engine. Also check upper radiator hose where it connects to radiator. Workaround: 50k/5 year coolant maintenance.
I paid for a coolant flush and the mechanic put back in peak 50/50. The orange kind not the gold. At least its not mixing with the HOAT but im pissed
