Battery Tesla or OPTIMA
I put that same Optima in 6 years ago (to the month!). Mines still fine knock on wood
Red optima battery on my 93 integra 10 yrs old still starts.
FWIW, my post is the top one, I did not go with an OEM battery after reading through other threads where users had issues finding one in stock and instead went with the Optima YellowTop that was recommended on their site. I have had zero issues.
I recently switched to an Optima Red Top 35 Series which has 720 CCA.
Optima is a great battery if you're running heavy-duty sound systems.
Optima is very good, Run them in all my cars. Hold their charge well in my chilly climate as well.
Had an Optima once. It was fine til it died, and it died hard. These days I stick with Interstate blemished units, since you can get them with cosmetic blems for about $35 from your local dealer. Cable wise, I updated them with the ones from a Mk3 VR6. I like the connectors better. Cables seem to be identical otherwise. Thicker alternator wire from Autotech is a must.
I've never been impressed with an Optima battery.
Optima isn't nearly as good as it used to be. I've owned a lot of their dry cell batteries and they've gone to **** over the years. They don't hold up well to this kind of use, and if they drop below 11V they **** the bed.
Once Johnson Controls bought them, they've become worse and worse.
