Brake discs Brembo or POWER STOP
For my ‘14 FXT, I bought a Powerstop geomet coated rotors and ceramic pads kit front and back from Rock Auto. It’s been almost four years and works well.
2018 Luxe AWD with the base brakes running Power Stop Z26 Street Warrior drilled & slotted rotors with full ceramic pads. Got it all from RockAuto.
I ran their track pads and rotors on my WRX before I put Brembos on it and had good performance. They’ll likely be fine unless you’re a super serious track driver (but if you were you probably wouldn’t be asking this question).
I run those rotors with their track day pads on track and have loved their performance.
I got the Power Stop JBR522SCR rotors for 23.99 each from RockAuto about four months ago. They stop my 2012.
So I got the black drilled and slotted rotors and pad replacements from them a while back, brakes are great. No dust, no squeak, fit like oem, and although not truly black anymore their still darker finish looking rotors so they look good behind the wheels.
I went with: Brembo rotors all around 288mm front and 232mm rear Tyrol Sport Front Brake Stiffening kit DFC track pads(similar to Hawk HP) I still need to do SS lines and a fluid change, but my car stops very well for street driving. I will be swapping my pads for Hawk Performance Ceramic's though only due to brake dust.
Just bought some brembo rotors and pads for the front. Oil filter and a rear windscreen wiper blade for $289 AUD.
I bought brembo front and rear and the rears were uncoated and already look shite. The front ones are rust free.
Put them on my exes tundra. Followed the break in procedure but they soon developed pulsation, as another commenter said. Wouldn’t get them again.
