Brake discs Brembo or TRW
Just replaced my brakes last weekend and I went with Brembo rotors and akebono pads. Very happy with the results, it feels like a major upgrade over stock.
Budweg R56 JCW 4 pots. With 316mm brembo brake discs, and Ferodo DS2500 pads is what i am going to run. More than enough for stopping.
I did Brembo rotors with K8SS pads fixed all shuddering and minimal break dust definitely recommend
TRW, ATE, or Zimmermann rotors. All 3 are absolute top quality.
I run Brembo 355×32mm TY3 rotors and they have exactly zero issues with very high braking loads.
brembo rotors, oem pads, best setup ive tried, and ive tried a dozen.
i replaced my fronts recently myself with genuine OE Brembo rotors and pads, and i was very pleased to have saved myself about 75% of the cost of having this done at the dealership
I use brembo for disks and textar for pads. I used brembo for both but I jas to replace the pads after 10k, they do work very well but they are too soft for daily use. Now I Hva put on textar pads and they are very good!
Bosch or Toyota. I had brembo front rotors for my Tacoma they don't fit by just a few mm unless maybe you bent or took off your dust shields which I wouldn't recommend doing ever
On the way back it started shuttering bad while breaking, especially down hill. I took it back to the place that did the brakes and they said front rotors were overheated. The parts are TRW (pads and rotors).
