Brake discs Centric or POWER STOP
My old car was a Honda Pilot, we drove from PA to GA several times a year. I soon discovered that Honda OEM rotors were crap and they would warp after one of our trips. Finally gave in, bought some Power stop rotors and ceramic pads. Have never had a warp issue ever since.
I've used power stop rotors on a few 3/4 ton trucks with no warping. I would not bat an eye at using them again.
I just got a full set of power stop. They worked out great, only I wish that I would have gotten the coated rotors. The surface rust forming on the uncoated rotors looks bad, but doesn’t affect performance.
Install was rather simple and the stopping power is great.
I've had great luck with Centric Premium coated (blank) rotors. I put them on everything.
I used the Power Stop Z36 kit. It has drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads. It was about $425 for all 4 shipped directly to my house last year. So far they seem great.
Went with power stop rotors and pads. Serious upgrade over stock. Very happy.
I got the powerstop set for the front. Heavy duty drilled/slotted rotors, nice pads and new calipers for 200 bucks.
I've always had good luck with the coated Centric rotors I've gotten from RA. No warping, good corrosion resistance.
I've done the Centric e-coat rotors and ceramic pads from Rock Auto on 4 of my vehicles over the years and have been very happy. Rotors don't turn into a ball of rust after getting wet once, let alone thru a salty Midwest winter. Pads seem to have good bite and consistent stopping power (1 set was on my old Mazda3) and no noise or dust.
