Was also thinking of doing EBC dimpled and slotted rotors, just to not worry about potential drilling rotor issues.
Installed LHT S2000 Brake Package which are StopTech slotted rotors, Hawk 5.0 front pads, organic rear pads, Goodridge braided stainless steel brake lines, bleed, and flush brake system.
All brake discs are now StopTech Black series one-piece, no detriment to performance vs the ATE stock two-piece, the upside is no going orange on the bells or edges like the stock discs do, pads are still PFC Z-Rated and fluid is ATE Type200, no obvious fade for fast road use.
Full suspension upgrades - this car handles like a dream! new EBC racing/red brakes with drill/slot rotors.
For brake discs and pads Stoptech has worked well under both my Expedition and also another Ford vehicle.
I have used StopTech a few times with no issues.
I installed EBC slotted rotors and EBC yellow stuff pads about 3 years ago. I did both fronts and rears. Granted Ive only put on maybe 10k km (6k miles) since then. But stopping power has been fantastic.
My 24 OBW was suffering from the warped/pad transfer front rotor issue so I swapped them with EBC pads/rotors and they feel and perform great. I had this same setup on my 22 WRX and I was very happy.
I had this when I fitted ebc discs on my Cupra. It's went on for a few hundred miles but then went away. I think it's something to do with the grooves. My thinking was they maybe had a little lip or something that eventually smoothed off.
