Brake pads Akebono or Bosch
not an srt but I prefer Akebono pads, just did wagner rotors but there are plenty of brands.
Pretty cheap for what you get. They last long.
They’re ok, never had a problem with this brand.
Best pads out there IMO. I've only put them on my car for the last 200k km. I'm due to change them for the 3rd time in the spring lol (90% highway driving)
I always use Akebono PROAct pads, and cheapest Centric rotors (changed with pads every time) I stop GREAT.
I also have those Bosch pads on my Tundra and they are really good, quiet, low dust, excellent overall.
I think the Bosch pads work fine.
Last year a shop replaced the rear brake pads and disks but since then handbrake never was like before. They kept telling me it will get better which I believed at the time but it never did. Last month I've passed inspection and they told me that the rear left handbrake was almost out of spec and I'd need to check it out although it passed.
So a month later I've bought a Bosch kit, sliders, pads, grease, toolkit etc and replaced the 1 year old ferodo pads. Now handbrake is like it should be and I'm happy with it but take a look at the old pads...
Both inner side alignment pins (caliper side) are bent.
put Akebono pads on my 335is that I use for weekend/track car. Many have recommended them for their low brake dust. However, they’re missing that initial bite and since my car is pushing some power, it feels slippery when driving in the street if they haven’t been warmed up.
It’s the pads. I paid my dealer to change my pads out to Akebono because the dust and noise was so bad. I get that it’s a performance car but good lord it was miserable for a daily driver.
