I like Akebono ceramics.
Akebono Euro Ceramics are fantastic
I just did my brakes and rotors and bought at rock auto . Deff do akebono pads they are the best. I did like high performance pads. Much better bite when you hit brakes. And as for rotors I just did like a OEM type rotor . I forget which ones. Not the cheapest ones tho. I did like 2 steps up from economy probably premium. Altogether I think I payed like 275for the whole set up and I'm very happy with them . No rust . And I drive a lot so if they were bad I'd know haha I already put a few thousand miles on them
I love Akebono pads, they are a bit more expensive, but they are quiet and the dust don't stick to the wheels
The problem is the OEM pads. I replaced my pads and only the pads with BOSCH pads, and it brakes fantastic now.
If you are looking for the best brake pads and rotors that will not pulsate, last a long time and work across a vast of vehicles, I suggest you look into Perfect Stop.
I've got AutoZone's gold ceramic pads on mine right now. They are made by Bosch, I know because they drop-shipped from the Bosch factory. Grippier than OEM, quiet for daily driving and decent for spirited driving.
Pads I always liked Akebono for low dust
Akebono is by far my favorite with minimal dust and excellent lifespan. I have used Bosch and Mazda OEM over the life of my car.
Zimmermann is quality. If you want OEM brake feel go with Textar or Pagid pads. I have Akebono pads on the Z3 and don’t like them
