Brake pads Akebono or Raybestos
I have Akebono ceramic pads on my Volvo, haven't really had a chance for any super spirited driving but they handle regular driving well and are fairly quite and dust free.
I installed Akebonos on my 2012 Mata and was happy with them.
BRAKES : 312mm brake conversion Stoptech slotted rotors Akebono Euro Ceramic brake pads
I got some akebono pads for my front brakes after scotty kilmer talked praise about them in a bunch of his videos.
Its been ~8 months and theyre still working great without much brake dust.
Akebono here too, no dust or noise, pedal feels great.
I have been using Akebono pads front and rear for the last few years. They give minimal dusting nothing too crazy. The pads are decent compared to OEM
I switched to Akebono ceramic compound after about six months of trying the Hawk HPS street pads. Performance is on par with OEM but I was looking for something that has less brake dust.
+1 for Akenbono for 99% street usage.
I have Raybestos AT's(96087) on my front, and Hawk HPS HB418F.646 pads. Don't think Hawk makes the HPS pads anymore though. I'm at about 2.5 years on mine, got 4 years out of the last set, after putting up with the OEM's for 4.5 years. Still on the factory rear drums.
Far better than OEM.
On any modern BMW model those pads make the pedal noticeably softer, to the point where it almost feels like air in the lines. I've swapped many sets out due to clients being unhappy with the feel. Works fine on older ones though.
