Brake pads Brembo or Project Mu
That would be Eicher disks and Brembo pads.
I'm in the UK and just got a good deal on Brembo disks and pads which I think are pretty good. Definitely avoid own brand stuff from parts stores. The Honda disks and pads are really good but a lot more than the Brembos cost. I also got a remanufactured genuine Nissin caliper which was remanufactured by Bendix for less than 1/3 cost of a new one.
I use brembo pads from ecstuning.com , dont buy parts on amazon or from china when you have a much better source available. I have ECS's own 2 piece rotors on front and brembo rotors on rear, my braking is really powerful and has lasted a long time despite what people say about ceramic pads and drilled/slotted rotors
Brembos are super dusty, amazing pads but they leave my alloys covered in dust within a week.
I have project Mu pads and rotors, front and back on my 33 GTR. They’re fantastic products. But be warned, they’re gonna squeak. Sometimes badly. Having said that, it’s *because they’re good* that they squeak. They’re pretty much racing brakes, and if you’re not hearing them up high enough, they’re gonna squeak. So be prepared for that.
I got PMu Street Comp pads and rotors on mine, about a couple weeks ago. They are solid, definitely highly recommend the brand.
after testing fancy slotted EBC brakes with greenstuff pads
i decided to just get something more like OEM and got myself a set of brembo pads and max line rotors, perfect for me.
They feel very similar to the original pads, so much so that I wouldn't be surprised if the original pads were supplied by Brembo on the performance pack.
I have a 2017 BRZ with the Performance package 34k miles. Brembo's squeal when slowing down at around 5-15mph. The dealership can't figure out why it's squealing. I found some forums where brake squeals are normal for Brembo.
Same! This was after they quoted me over the phone that it would be $800. Fuck the dealership. Try to find you a good, honest mechanic. When you do, hold on to them tight and never let go.
Ended up paying $1,600 for all 4 pads and rotors on my 2016 STI.
