Brake pads EBC or Bosch
I’ve used EBC HH pads on front and rear for years they’re awesome for street. I would never get organic ever again, tried them once and as expected they have very soft bite but most importantly they wore out completely in a couple months, waste of money
They'll absolutely be ok to use for the street. In fact, most supersports come with oem HH sintered pads.
They may wear a little quicker, but you'll get better stopping power and you should certainly feel a difference.
I recently changed the pads on my 600RR to the EBC HH sintered pads and I'm really happy with how they feel.
The inability to easily modulate light braking is the main reason I swapped in some EBC Redstuff pads. Very linear and better ultimate braking. You couldn't pay me to go back to the stock pads.
With EBC Yellowstuff Pads and Motul Fluid I was fade-free during multiple 25 minute sessions at my local 2.5 mile track. My front brake rotors read a temp of 650 degrees at the end of each session with ambient air temp of about 85 degrees.
Here's what I did at 30k miles as the originals had faded badly StopTech slotted rotor with EBC redstuff pad - I'm certain you'll get a thousand recommendations on better stuff. Love, love, love these brakes. Very little dust.
The anodized drilled/slotted rotors just got their 2nd pad change with Bosch quietcast ceramic pads. Zero noise, much less brake dust and last longer than the 2 years of the messy oe pads on our 3.7 ton Yukon.
I went from OEM to ebc yellow stuff to combat brake fade on the track. I feel a bite difference on the road for sure. If you don’t mind a bit of squeak, the ebc brakes are good.
I also upgraded brakes to Optimal brand e-cote rotors and EBC Red street/performance pads. A nice improvement in brake feel and the new rotors look better, but hardly necessary.
I switched to EBC redstuff ceramic from my OEM pads on my MX-5. They are marketed as slightly higher performance than OEM with much improved wear and dust levels. In my experience they are maybe slightly more grabby initially, otherwise they perform similarly to OEM, but their claims about dust levels were not true at all in my case, they dusted FAR more than OEM. I get noticeable dust after a few days compared to maybe a few weeks before.
The negatives with EBC Yellow stuff is that they produce a HUGE amount of dust, and eat through rotors quickly. I had them on my wifes CX-9 with a set of their drilled and slotted rotors, they were horrible! The rotors had a vibration at anything over 45mph, and the dust they created was ridiculous.
