Brake pads EBC or DBA
I use ebc pads and rotors. I don't see the point in spending hundreds or thousands more for galfer and the latest cool shit
Those are very good EBC pads, they also don’t destroy rotors. I will warn you that a brake bedding is absolutely critical with those. They very much rely on the transfer layer for better stopping performance and to not destroy your rotors. Thankfully, usually within 2 to 3 laps they have enough heat in them that you’re able to get a good transfer layer going.
They last me at least 3 days on brake-heavy tracks.
I switched to EBC Redstuff ceramics and am very happy. They’re quiet and the dust is light, and not brown. I think the performance is very comparable to OEM.
EBC redstuff. Very low dust. Similar feel to OEM pads but maybe slightly less initial bite.
Installed EBC Yellow Stuff pads for rear, kept original rotors, without even turning. 1000km later amazing so far.
I've got DBA street performance pads and slotted rotors on my 2018 Outback. Not sure what their availability may be to you, but they carry a good reputation down under.
I have EBC Bluestuff on my M4. I think they are a good hybrid pad, and fine for sprint or autocross, but they will melt as an endurance pad. Sessions longer than 30 min on brake heavy courses and they will glaze.
EBC street pads are nothing special.
I burned EBC Blues up in a single day, decided they weren't up to it.
