When I got car had drilled slotted rotors and brake performance was horrible. I’d suggest this kit to anyone and I have white rims also. At least one wash a week keeps brake dust at bay. Stopping performance for stock calipers and rotor size couldn’t be better.
Whole setup feels really damn good.
They're quite a good combo. I glazed them doing too much drifting in the snow, but fixed with a bench grinder and they're as good as day 1.
EBC red stuff pads work great. Better stopping power than stock, way less dust, but I've always swapped rotors and pads at the same time.
I have the EBC Yellowstuff pads. They are very smooth and there is no vibration. The factory Brembo pads are horrible and they try to rip you off on the price.
Just replaced my rotors and pads all around. So far I like the Red Stuff much better than OEM. Less dust. Less noise.
I ran bluestuff on my FK8 for two days. I am a novice and it worked great.
I've used them on track in NASA HPDE3 group. They are pretty much equivalent to the Hawk HP+, for a lighter weight car they are fine for track days but for a heavy car you will need a more race oriented pad.
Complete ripoff. Subaru tried that years ago on my STI, I bought Hawk track pads and did it myself (as I would have done anyway). The dealer tried the ol' "These are high end calipers and the pads are much more difficult to change". I just said "Please stop lying to me, you're eroding trust between us" and left. Easiest brakes ever.
Had them on my m240i. Lasted one track day before they cracked.
