The EBC Red pads are one of the best set that they make, are quiet, and stop great.
I had the same issue on my SQ5, ended up putting on the EBC Red Stuff pad after 700 miles... The EBC Red's still dust, but I can go about a week before you notice the dust, with the OEM pads it was less than a day before you could tell.
I also currently have EBC red installed with golf R retaining clips and tyrol sport brake caliper stiffening kit and tyrol sport stainless steal brake lines and the noise was not present until maybe around 8,000 miles into the new pads. The car still stopped on a dime, thats all I was really concerned about.
I'm running EBC RedStuff and I'm a fan of them. I probably see the canyons twice a week and they've held up very well in those conditions. Also almost no noise. The only time there's a bit of squeezing is for a bit in the morning when it's cold.
EBC Greenstuff 2000 series. Or the EBC Redstuff series if you're a very spirited driver. But the greenstuff should be plenty effective even if you are a spirited driver. The dust production is very minimal and very easy to wipe off by hand without any cleaner

Great cars. They like to eat brakes in regular intervals. With 70k make sure there is no front end shimmy that is the result in worn control arm bushings/warped brake rotors.
Personally I use EBC "Green Stuff" pads and am pretty happy with them.
Alright, I will look into the Green stuff. I'm just not wanting to go too high, because I have many other things needing fixed on the car (80k mile service stuff, tires, check engine light. etc.... Trying to get it all done as soon as possible, using a little of each paycheck I get.) Autozone only carries Duralast... which doesn't have the best reviews on their website. And last time I did a pair of my brakes, they gave me the wrong ones and I didn't realize it until the car was apart. Quick question... the steering lacks the consistent weighting and tactile communication that a Porsche offers. For a car this rapid, it's not as talkative as it should be. We've also got reservations about the brakes. Our test car was fitted with competition-grade brake pads to cope with track use, but they still faded badly after a handful of hard laps.
