Brake pads EBC or OEM Mercedes
The EBC RPX pads are their race ones and are incredibly good for the price. They last a long time and have serious bite. I have these paired with their fully floating rotors and callipers and have not had a single issue in a year of tracking my e46 m3.
I run EBC Redstuff pads, the brake dust is very minimal.
they held up fantastic. I drove to the track, and drive home after the track day; no issues.
Got a 22 brz and use ebc yellow the old formulation on a technical short track without issues.
I have ebc yellow in my c5 and very much prefer them over the hawk street 5.0 I had before. No issues with fade at any point.
I ran EBC yellows at PittRace on my Golf R and they held up fine.
EBC yellows are completely fine. I used them when I tracked my Gen coupe and never had an issue. Dusty as shit, but I liked em for the track.
Have EBC redstuffs on rear wheels of my XF 25t. Good breaking, silent, but now at half pad started to make a lot of dust (much more then genuine factory fitted Jag pads still at the front) so I will change them when the time comes and go back to Jag pads.
I bought and installed EBC red stuff pads on my stoptech slotted rotors. I also have stainless steel brake lines too. I've had several techs tell me my brakes are fine, but I literally can push the brake pedal to the floor in some cases, including the highway. It stays like that for a while too as I'll be driving at 60+ mph, go to stop and it has a long bit of travel. I will even pump up the brake pedal while at red lights and stop signs just to get some more bite but I feel like I might fuck up the master cylinder doing this enough. The fluid was flushed less than 6 months ago, but I feel like I need to switch to a better pad if this is actually the issue. I felt like my ABS wasn't even going off at one point due to these pads, or that I had some trapped air in my lines.
Just changed brake pads on the S65. Discovered an oil leak, likely from a turbo line.
