I just recently did a EBS red stuff with EBC slotted rotors package deal and I've been super happy. Reduced dust, only a squeak or two when wet/super cold, and bite is much improved.

Pros: Reduced dust, improved bite
Cons: Squeak when wet

I've bought Honda brakes for my 09 Accord several years ago, perfect fit and function. go with name brand, doesn't have to be top tier but OEM is a good starting point. I've just always gone with Raybestos for all my cars

Pros: perfect fit and function

Some prices I don't know how they pull off. I got both front rotors for my Armada for $70. Added Raybestos pad set for $13. I've put around 6000 miles on my new brakes and haven't had a moment of noise or issue.

Pros: no noise, no issues
Vehicle: Nissan AD
Mileage: 6000 km

Have had EBC Red stuff, Yellow stuff and Blue stuff. My impressions of them are below:

Red stuff - slightly better initial bite than an OEM pad, the same goes for performance at higher temps, however on track they didn’t last more than a couple of laps. Certainly more of a daily/fast road pad.

Yellow stuff - initial bite ever so slightly lesser than the red stuff, probably inline with OEM. However they put up with more abuse at higher temps and rarely gave much brake fade. Bit dustier, would say fast road/occasional track pad.

Blue stuff - initial bite worse than OEM, after a few hard stomps you can feel them waking up. Stand up to track abuse very well. After multiple fast laps on track, I felt it was the discs that were getting too hot, so these pads highlighted I needed brake cooling to keep going. Squeak at low speeds, dusty.

To answer your question, imo there isn’t a situation where blues are more ‘streetable’ than reds, I’d swap them out for reds and if you can, keep blues for the track ????

HTH

Pros: good initial bite, high-temp performance
Cons: short track life, dusty

I'm going to shit on EBC HH. They're popular, easy to get, and somewhat better than OEM. But they suck ass. Every time I need more brake power they fade. Every time I want the brakes to bite they just shrug and I feel like I need to clamp down. Progressive riding? Sure. Emergency braking? Hell naw. Need to cut speed for sharp corners? Good luck. So I've switched to Vesrah and never looked back.

Cons: fade, poor bite, bad emergency braking

EBC Brake pads

I just had the worst experience with EBC redstuff pads. brand new pads, and the first time i put pressure on them - they fail - badly! overheating within 5 minutes of spirited driving in the mountains.

Cons: fail badly, overheat
