Brake pads Ferodo or Hawk Performance
Hawk HP+ is a very good multiuse pad if you can get them for your car. Be warned - they will squeak pretty loudly and dust your wheels, but they work fine on the street, great in the canyons, and will still last at least a few sessions on track.
HAWK HP+ front pads for Track Days
Stock pads were driving me insane so I switched to ceramic Hawks. I don't track my car and the noise is gone so I'm happy with them. I don't have to clean the car that often either since the dust is minimal.
With those rotors, Hawk HPS+ pads, ATE Typ200 fluid, and TyrolSport caliper stiffening bushings, the thing stops very well for DD use. Still gonna fade hard after a relatively short while though.
Like others, I too run Zimmerman blank Z coats on both vehicles, EBC Red pads on the Beetle & Hawk 5.0 on the Tig.
I use Hawk HP5 pads and love them. Feels like stock.
New brake pads and rotors, front and rear. Rebuilt brake calipers. Hawk and OEM parts.
I got Hawk HPS pads recently on my 987.2 Cayman and they definitely have less dust and equal or better braking power.
I've got these. Great pedal feel, stopping distance. The ****ing worst dust and noise.
I have Hawk HPS 5.0 street pads on mine, and hate them. They're ass until you get some heat in them.
