Brake pads POWER STOP or Bendix
When I bought my ‘18 AMG GLE43 back in July, I bought a complete set of PowerStop performance ceramic pads and drilled & slotted rotors for the front and back. Since that time, I’ve put over 4000 miles on my AMG GLE43 and the new brake setup works incredibly well. They look great, feel great
I changed over to Bendix and it has literally lasted more than twice as long. In fact they’re still on my Corolla after 60,000kms.
For brake pads I really like the power stop z23 pads
PowerStop pads with Brembo rotors are a solid, budget-friendly combo.
Z23 are a perfect balance, on my 2nd set on this wrx
Powerstop carbon fiber/ceramic. Very little dust and no noise
I've been running PowerStop Track Day pads since a track day in May. I honestly like running them on the street. The brake squeal at low speeds adds to the shitbox feeling. They feel amazing after proper break in procedure.
Power Stop Z23 pads and Z17 Geomet rotors. It’s like a whole new car - I know that may sound weird but it really drives better, I’m hyper aware of my car and the ride is smoother. I did it at 69k miles, and I wish I had done it earlier.
My experience with PowerStop (on my old Mazda 3) is that they tend to have more bite but, wear out quicker and have more brake dust than OEM. That being said, they were quiet and held up fine until they were fully worn down.
Imo I’ve installed powerstop brakes 4 times on a handful of my cars and they rust to absolute hell. Just go for oem or acdelco gold etc I ended up replacing the powerstop for oem anyways.
