Brake pads POWER STOP or OEM BMW
Powerstop z23, get them from Rockauto.
Power stops. I’ve had mine in there for well over 75k. Same pads and rotors the whole time.
I just replaced both pads and rotors at 100k with R1 Concepts rotors and power stop pads. Seems fine.
Did mine a couple months ago. They feel good and stop well. Decent price. No noise.. would do it again. The hardware wasnt great and ended up reusing the oem clips.
Power Stop Z26 pads and rotors. They dust much less than stock, have lower initial bite, which helps with heel/toe downshifts, but similar overall bite to stick pads. I wouldn't try a heavy track day on them, but they're great as a set for aggressive daily driving. I ran the Z23 pads on OEM discs for nine years and approximately 50k miles and they were fantastic. I just upgraded to the Z26 pads and swapped discs about 500 miles ago. Zero complaints.
I went with powerstop OE replacement pads and rotors. I went with the non-track style pads. They're quiet and aren't dusty. I don't track it, zero issues.
I run the powerstop Z23 evolutions with no complaints and no brake shuddering
I have put 10k miles on it since then. The car has given me no issues whatsoever other than changing the brake pads and sensors.
I put power stop pads on and generic slotted rotors from local parts store.
Installed new Centric High-Carbon rotors + PowerStop Z23 Evolution Carbon-fiber Ceramic pads on front only. I'm getting significant brake judder. Steering and vehicle body shakes, but the brake pedal does not pulsate. No pulling to either side. Really bad when stopping from 80 MPH+.
