Brake pads POWER STOP or OEM Hyundai
New power stop ceramic z17 front brake pads
I also swapped out the pads and rotors with Powerstop Z36 Truck and Tow carbon fiber ceramic pads and drilled and slotted rotors. They turned out to be fantastic, especially with towing in the mountains and the Nebraska Sandhills. Highly recommend!
I have a 21' Hyundai Accent which was basically the sedan version of the Venue before the Accent got axed. I live in the NE so I've encountered plenty of road salt as well as coastal salt/driving through minor coastal flooding. My car has basically zero rust underneath. I wash it immediately (within 24 hours) of driving through coastal flooding or winter treated roads, or as soon as temps go above freezing. Shit, I've got 80k on this car on the original brake pads and there's NO rust on the rotors or calipers, which to me is an unexpected surprise for someone who drives in corrosive conditions.
On the other hand, all I did to it was change oil, brake pads, tires and spark plugs. Ran all the time, snow, sun, rain. Drove it everywhere. Put loads of miles on it.
I picked up some Power Stop pads (Z23915B and Z231095) back in 2016 and they are still going strong. I wouldnt say they are "low dust", but they do seem less than OEM. They seemed to be a bit more bite than my OEMs.
I got Powerstop for my 2015 Sequoia and absolutely love them. Can’t recommend them enough.
I have used powerstops basic kit on Amazon for years now and had no problems. They say they're a "street upgrade" but they're just good quality pads and rotors.
I did power stop drilled slotted with carbon ceramic pads but I got the labor for a good deal , or if your handy they Work great and look nice .
Did power stop pads and rotors on an 18 GT and it makes the same noise. Even tried bedding new pads, still does it.
Installed new Centric High-Carbon rotors + PowerStop Z23 Evolution Carbon-fiber Ceramic pads on front only. I'm getting significant brake judder. Steering and vehicle body shakes, but the brake pedal does not pulsate. No pulling to either side. Really bad when stopping from 80 MPH+.
