Brake pads POWER STOP or OEM Hyundai
I'm running Z26 Pads front & rear on my '20 with DBA T3 Rotors. Performance is excellent. I don't get the squeal others have reported with the Z26 pads. I had originally installed the DBA XP Pads but they were too dusty for my liking.
I'm currently running Z23 pads with DBA rotors (slotted, so the wear on the pads should be similar to the Z26 rotors). The PowerStop pads have less initial bite, but I personally feel like they brake harder at max brake pressure than OEM pads. It takes a bit to get used to, but it feels fine long term.
I got PowerStop Z26 pads and steel braided brake lines to go with my brembos and they’re great. They’re quiet and leave very little brake dust.
I just did my brakes for the first time. Way easier than I expected. I think I spent $700 on front and back Powerstop Z36 pads and rotors.
I had Z26s on my first TSX. Those things made my stock brakes feel like a joke. They also look cool on the car too. I'm planning to get them again for my current tsx when it's time to replace my pads.
I ran powerstops on my P71 when I did them and have run them on most of my vehicles since, they\u2019re great brakes for the money just make sure you follow the bedding-in instructions.
I upgraded mine with powerstop z26 pads up front with their slotted and drilled rotors, and z23 in the rear with slotted and drilled there too and stops on a dime and I dont ever detect any brake fade and I drive fast in steep winding roads and up Mt roads with it
PowerStop ceramics. I put them on the fronts. Dust was crazy on the OEMs
powerstop z26 (just know these are noisy so lubricant them right, I recommend synthetic brake pad lubricant).
Late last year had the brakes completely fail on a 3 day old Pallisade and the dealer told the victims that yes it’s a known problem. No there’s not a fix, have a nice day and let them drive off in it. I basically begged them to pick anything else but they wouldn’t hear it, that is until they almost crashed with my two nephews in tow.
