Brake pads Raybestos or ENDLESS
I installed Raybestos Element 3 on my wife\u2019s 2015 LT along with new Element 3 rotors. Better stopping power than the stock pads but a little more brake dust. The increased performance is worth it to me.
I just swapped to Endless ME20 for my non-daily, but it's not obnoxiously loud, I could see myself daily driving it.
Brakes are a composition issue. rears wore out at 34,000 miles on my 22 Taos S. Replaced with Raybestos Hybrid ceramic and with 87,000 they still have plenty of life.
I run Endless SS-Y’s on the street, and have never had to clean brake dust off my wheels even when running white ones. They’re fantastic
Love my Raybestos ST43 on my Corvette for the track with 200 series tires. They can be a bit annoying on the street.
I use endless me20's on my FL5. i've had no issues with it on the street, and is obviously a very very good track pad primarily. if you're fine with a little squeal, these are good imo.
I’m using Endless CCrG pads on street and track. I have done 5 track days this year at 3 different tracks and daily drive my car and they have held up really good and have no noise or anything on the street.
Raybestos Element 3 in the Forester (surprisingly good pads and cheap AF)
I have the Raybestos EHT on my ol' Camry and Avalon. They lack longevity and will pulse toward then end of their usable life. The quality control has slipped a little of the years. You might have to file fit them(as with any pad). I'd say that they won't tolerate a hack installer. My EHT stopped better than my Akeboner proacts.
Also ordered Raybestos pads and rotors.
3) Lastly, the brake pads' bodies are the right dimensions to fit the caliper brackets, but why would the friction-material footprint be so much smaller?! I can only think of negatives with using these.
