Control arm Tesla or MEYLE
the meyle arms I installed are good so far.
meyle HD' are made of aluminium they last forever and make your ride a bit better bit better in terms of roll
I have used a Meyle HD front end kit on one of my Phaetons and it seemed like good quality control arms.
My 23LR was taken in for an interior squeak (20k miles) and on inspection Tesla replaced the upper and lower control arms for free. They said they noticed wear. car drove perfectly and i inspect the suspension regularly all looked good, but who am i to argue with new suspension parts. also got an alignment too of course.
I've swapped out the control arms for Meyle HD ones. Solid forged aluminium instead of hollow steel.
Mine started squeaking at about 40k miles. I didn't feel like replacing them yet and they were still solid so I did the grease gun with needle fitting "fix". Squeak went completely away after a day and has been gone for the last 10k+ miles.
I had upper control arms replaced on my Model X 3 times in 3 years under warranty.
After warranty expired, only issues were paid for was upper control arm replacement in the front because of squeaks and tail light went out because water got in.
meyle is garbage.
I put Meyle HD lower arms on my Z3 two years ago, and this week I've noticed a slight clunking from the front. I've done around 6k in the last two years so perhaps the quality is deteriorating.
