Engine oil AMSOIL or OEM Volkswagen
It’s probably placebo but I feel that I burn less with Amsoil. That said with current prices I’ve gone back to my default of Castrol.
O-w20 amsoil is top notch, expensive but worth it.
I use Amsoil in every vehicle with an engine that I own...this has not changed for 25 years. Amsoil is so good I'd pour it over pancakes if I ran out of syrup.
I'm using amsoil 5w30. Great product. Real synthetic. Superior protection.
I use Amsoil 0W-20 (also on my 2020 Audi Q3) since it meets the specs.
Amsoil 25k Oil in a 2017 Ford Focus. Went 20k miles. Looked like standard 5k oil when it came out. Engine is still doing great 60k later! I do 7500 mile changes with Royal Purple now.
The oil spec for the 1.8L engine in my 2019 Golf Sportwagen S 4motion is 502.00 (5W40). After my last oil change at the dealer I questioned whether they used the correct oil because the service ticket was written up wrong. The dealer supplied these photos to show how the different grades of oil are actually different colors. The oil on my dipstick was caramel colored, so I knew it was the correct grade for my car after all.
I use Amsoil in my Ford Fusion.
That PN is listed as genuine Volkswagen oil for your vehicle. You’re all good!
I use Amsoil European spec 0W20 for my '18 440i. It's engineered for vehicles requiring BMW LL-17FE+ so you know it's good
