Engine oil MOTUL or RAVENOL
I’ve heard a lot of people and shops use motul.
Motul 0w30 has the correct approvals also.
Motul 300V for track use.
Currently using Motul 8100 Eco 0w20. Abit pricey but I switched to since it has the latest certs for turbo charged engines.
So, I recently drove 2 oils: NGN Emerald 5w30 and Ravenol VST 5w40. I watched the oil temperature displayed on the route book display in different modes, but there were no problems with the temperature.
I used Ravenol VST 5w40.
Motul Is the snizz. I put it in my Honda and every German car that comes in for service.
I bought this unusual oil made in Germany Ravenol NDT 5W-40...my truck has never sounded or performed better. I was hearing a little bit of top end noise at idle and that's complete quieted with this oil, as well as throttle response and overall smoothness of the engine and turbocharger increased greatly.
My flavor of choice has been Motul 8100 x-cess (5w-40) every 5K or 6 months.
Motul is definitely the best
