Engine oil OEM Mazda or RED LINE
I've run Redline in my '01 Golf & my '10 Touareg TDI's for Hundreds of thousands of miles. No worries!
2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi 255,000 miles Redline 5w30 full synthetic Wix Filter Lubegard Biotech with each oil change....... 5,000 mile intervals. Had a hemi tick when i purchased used in 2007 {off lease} with 32,000 miles on it. The Redline and lubegard have a hefty amount of moly in them which helps keep the insides slick and hemi tick at bay.
I use Redline but it’s about the same price if not moreso.
2014 3, 0W-20 full synthetic (whatever major brand is cheapest) from brand new, every 7500 miles.
170k, runs like a top, burns not a single drop between changes, compression and fuel mileage exactly the same as new.
I use Redline 10w60.
I’ve been using redline in my 2020 fxlrs for the last 3 years. A few guys I know swear by it.
So far redline 20w60 is doing great in the summer heat
My first service after purchasing my Harley, I used SYN3 in all three, since then I’ve religiously used REDLINE kits.
Mazda’s OEM 5w30 is a little too thin for my blood considering the engine temps when driving hard, fine if you’re going to never redline the car
So when i changed the car to 10w40 redline I noticed that the car began to knock around 3-4k which it didn't do before and now it seems to slowly get worse.
