My car burns oil and I went to Pennzoil ultra platinum. Burns ways less oil now
Pennzoil Ultra Platinum is one of the best full synthetic oils out there.
Liqui-Moly is also good, as are Amsoil and Pennzoil Ultra Platinum. I never had good luck with Mobil 1.
I use Mazda Moly 0w-20 in our 2014 Skyactiv CX-5.
I keep a running supply of pennzoil ultra platinum 5w30 around as 4 of our vehicles use it. I start to worry when I have less than 10 quarts.
Pennzoil because it runs about 20°F colder for me.
Pennzoil. I've run conventional, semi synthetic, and full synthetic. Nearly 200k miles, still kicking like a mule. 7500 mile oil changes on the reg, some to 9000. No signs of slowing down.
Pennzoil ultra platinum often goes on sale or has rebates, I'll stock up a couple years supply when it does.
0W-30 VW 504 spec Penzoil Euro Platinum is all I use in my MK7.5.
Pennzoil has been pretty good to me. Not pushy.
