Currently have one in a 97 for about 3 years, I don’t drive the car super hard so there’s no problems at all.
No issues with my mishimoto radiator in my 04 MSM. Kept the stock fans, however.
When this happened to me, I had to just bite the bullet and get the mishimoto radiator. Now my Z runs slightly on the cooler side and it’s amazing.
Mishimoto radiator, all under trays intact, vented carbon hood, dual rotary performance oil cooler thermostats, and mazdaspeed front bumper. She stayed a steady 205.
I used a like new radiator I had from my 16v post going aluminum rad and fans on that car. so new fan, cleaned up the wiring and put a better looking relay in and tested it.
As for highway driving (when the high speed airflow takes over) I saw little to no difference with my OEM vs Mishimoto All-aluminum radiator. Hot day, w/ and w/o AC temps push 220F easily.
I’ve been using the same one on my skyline for nearly 10 years and lately the coolant has been brown. Mishimoto radiators are good enough
I needed to replace the entire radiator in the GTI to get a check engine light to go away.
my Mishimoto leaked/falied apx 10-11 years after I bought it. and keep the receipt, or your lifetime warranty will not be valid
I bought a mishi three weeks ago, it arrived a week later, leaking. Two weeks later, mishi gave me a new one for free. Guess what.. it’s leaking too, from the welds at the neck. I gave up and had my buddy seal it up good
