Gear oil AMSOIL or RED LINE
I put Amsoil Severe Gear 75-90 in both just last month.
I have a 22 6MT. I changed my driveline fluids myself at 30k. Super easy. I used Amsoil severe gear 75w90. It’s full synthetic.
I used redline mtlv and can’t recommend enough!!!
Redline gear oil tends to leave a thin film at all times slightly better than motul but does have a slightly longer warm up period.
I prefer Redline over Motul, but will use Motul at times because it’s cheaper.
Amsoil. I’m not a fan of their engine oil but their transmission and gear oil is the best I’ve used so far.
I use Amsoil on my tundra. Except for the engine oil, i use mobil just because I changed my oil every 3000 miles, and i dont tow a lot, so I'm not reving my tundra as much . It is extremely expensive. I think I spend around 400.00 for the transmission, rear diff, transfer case, etc....But I did a lot of research on them, and they are worth the money.
i put redline MT90 in it + it shifted decently good until i blew 5th gear at 105 thou good luck
Redline is very stiff when cold, but holds up better under harsh conditions (hard driving).
this morning i change the gear oil to MT90 redline still no luck the 1st gear crunch noise still there
