Headlights Hella or OEM FORD
obd2 golf glass hella
I bought a set for the B4 Passat I traded in earlier this year, and reviewed them in that thread starting on 22 April; they weren't bad -- far better than the stock NA headlights.
i miss hella lights smoked ecodes...fitment and quality was amazing...i would gladly pay the extra cash for headlights that dont fog up
Quality build and great job with the resistors for the ring problem
havem in my r32 with an HID kit and they look incredible
I have these on my GTI and they are super bright and sexy!
The best bag for the buck is a set of Hella e-codes w. +50% bulbs like Phillips Vision Plus or Osram Silverstars. You will not be diasppointed w/ the perfromance. I've had almost every set of lights for a MKIV and I like regualr e-codes(either projector or reflector) over OEM HIDs.
does anyone have pics of HID Ecodes
So, I opened my headlights on my 17. It is like others have said a painful process. Main reason is because the factory glue sealing the headlights is very difficult to melt, I had to bake my lights for quite a while to get it to loosen up. And even then the factory glue is basically impossible to get all the way off. Putting it back together isn\u2019t bad, I know some people have condensation issues but I\u2019ve never had any issues with that, plus from the factory there are already drain holes/air holes in the housing anyways.
i installed my hella headlights about 4 months ago...now the headlights are cracking on the lens. it sort of looks like crows feet on a bad paint job. it looks really bad, and i never heard of anyone having this problem. geniune hella headlights from a gli.
