Ignition coil DELPHI or Denso
Delphi. BMW started with Bosch and after misfire issues they switched to Delphi (I think in 2011?). Go with Delphi, my old e82 with an n52 had tons of misfires at 40k with Bosch coils and the Delphi’s had no issues.
I found aftermarket Denso brand to be quite good. Been on my 07 highlander for years.
I had issues with misfires until I replaced the coils with genuine oem. Before that I had all new Delphi 10571 which were not the same and ultimately fixed my misfire issues.
I won't install anything but the Delphi coils.
Don't mess with anything other than Denso for either. OEM is the way to go, especially if you are trying to fix something with the old "parts cannon." I got a Denso coil from Walmart for a good price, around $75 ea.
I used Denso replacement coils on my '09, they're the OEM Toyota coils with the Toyota part number ground off
Honda OEM Denso coils only. This other stuff is junk.
I got all 6 of my ignition coil for my 4Runner for the price of one at autozone. They were Denso oem for Toyota.
Don’t get Bosch coils or plugs. Get Delphi coils, they’re the updated design. As for plugs go with NGK
Delphi quality has drastically dropped over the past 2 years. We’ve gotten multiple DOA units, and ones that fail within 6 months.
