Oil filter Fram or Wix
Switch to a high quality oil filter to allow oil to flow quicker at startup. The rattle, if timing chain related, is likely one of the hydraulic tensioners not filling with oil as quickly as it should so you hear the chain rattle till it tightens. A higher quality filter will help. Wix would be my recommendation.
At first I stuck with OEM, but mahle OEM filters got pricey and hard to find. Now I'm rocking Fram tough guard synthetic filters with 5w20 high mileage mobile 1 full synthetic oil.
My car seems to like this combo, time will tell.
On my '21 XLE I use WIX 51394 oil filter which holds more oil and is slightly longer than OEM. I use Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0W-20.
I do my own. I can get a good STP or Fram filter and 5qt of high mileage oil for $32 at my local autozone, then maybe 20 minutes to do the actual oil change.
Use some seafoam in the oil before the oil change to clean deposits up. I use Rotella T6 5w40 with a high quality fram filter, XG16 if I remember correctly (avoid the orange). High zinc content in the oil is good for the lifters in these engines and the 40 is good for a high mileage engine with a wearing oil pump.
I have used Fram, AC Delco, K&N, and Napa Gold. I had issue with the body breaking down on Fram and K&N. I stick to AC Delco so it keeps as close to OEM as possible.
Never ever ever ever use these Mr oil change filters, always get a oem, even frams suck.
FRAM is well known for making cheap shit with poor pleating and cardboard drainback valves. Yes, they'll probably work "fine", but its yet another corner cut by SoA. But why settle for fine?
The original company that made them was bought out by fram and now they are all junk.
Dont use a fram filter.... That will help a TON. There is a reason almost nobody uses Fram except walmart. I wouldnt trust the base fram past 3k period
