Oil filter K&N or Motorcraft
Also the K&N oil filter is superior to HD’s despite the recent upgrade. The K&N has a better flow.
K&N HP1002 because it has a hex on the end that makes taking it off through the wheel well really easy. Don't even have to jack up the car, just remove the rear splash guard.
That is why I always buy a k&n filter where can just use a wrench.
I put a K&N nut topped filter on it and never had to do that again!
So far K&N is on track to hit 10k before I change my oil again.
In my time of ownership I've been doing oil changes are 7500 miles per the book with a full synthetic mobil 1 and a K&N oil filter since we got it with 155,000 on the clock.
I still recommend the OEM oil. I have a mechanic that let's me provide my own parts (if I wish) for a job at no cost. When he does my oil changes I provide the Motorcraft Oil and Oil Filter.
I personally don’t use k&n oil filters. They filter great but I’m not a fan of their flow.
Previously used the k&n one and it always leaked. After 3 filters, i switched
I've seen those leaking at the crimp now multiple times.
